We regularly engage in Design Build services with our clients. This is an interactive process that allows both the Architect and Contractor to be involved from the beginning. This is the most efficient way to complete your project from the initial concept through your project completion. Our Design Build services range from initial consultations to preliminary design and also include construction drawings and Engineering.
Design Build can be utilized with all of our services, not just our additions and major renovations. Additional services include zoning variances, Architectural review committees, and historical preservation committee such as German Village, Victorian Village, etc. Additionally we consult with the decorator and landscape Architect as necessary to provide a complete turn key Design Build project for our clients.
Services
Kitchen Remodeling
Kitchens are typically the center hub of the home. Kitchen functions vary so greatly therefore the design needs to be versatile and interactive with the other activities, yet provide an efficient, comfortable, protected work area. In addition to the quick snack or the grand gourmet dinner, kitchens also facilitate casual meals, entertaining, school projects, planning desks, and much more.
Bathroom Remodeling
Bathrooms will vary greatly from the efficient half bath tucked under the stairs to the luxurious bath with all the amenities. The most common dilemma with bath designs with limited space is either to do the large walk in shower, keep the tub, or a combination of the two combined. The large walk in shower is currently the most popular choice, provided you have a tub somewhere in the home.
Basement Remodeling
The basement areas of the home offer a lot of versatility and are typically the most economical space to finish off. They should be treated as an extension of the main home and not as an after thought. The most common use is for a recreation/family room and usually includes a full bath, widescreen TV, etc… Some clients have utilized their space for game rooms and home theaters. Guest suites are also a possibility, providing an egress window or scape well is incorporated into your design.
Living Spaces Remodeling
These unique or specialty projects are typically a once only type project that meets a customer's specific request or special needs. For us these are always a lot of fun as they typically require thinking outside of the box and allows us to really get creative. Like our regular projects they require design, planning, and construction but will have a lot more "what ifs" in the design as well as the actual construction.
Projects
At Renovations Unlimited we don't just do kitchens, baths, etc. we do a wide range of projects and do them very well. In addition to our regular projects our clients also will request something unique from time to time.
We have put cabinets in! Our Upper Arlington house is making great strides. With the kitchen cabinets and office bookcase in we are excitingly waiting for countertops to go in!

A Bexley kitchen/living room we did a few years ago. We just finished up a garage addition at the same home and cannot wait to get pictures to show that off!
This is a project we hope to feature in the NARI Tour next year and will track the progress with you. We have now demoed everything, so here are the before pictures and soon we will share the demo pictures!

Absolutely love this kitchen, sure we have shared before but today wanted to appreciate the cabinets and how unique the color and island are! Cannot get enough of this Kitchen.
Today, we appreciate bathtubs! A lot of people are about maximizing shower space, so when we get to put in a nice bathtub its always fun.
Being from Ohio means that you beg for summer but once the heat hits, you are more than ready for Fall! A nice book by the fireplace and pumpkin scents is sounding great on these hot summer days...
Where we would rather be on this scorcher of a Monday! Cooking lunch in the outdoor living space and jumping into the in-ground pool!
